How it started
HN Tech Versus started with a simple search. One day I woke up wanting to compare two products before buying one. I searched for a clear, side-by-side comparison — and I couldn’t find one. What I found were spec sheets copied from site to site, reviews that never said which product was actually better for me, and pages so full of ads that the answer was impossible to find.
So I decided to build the site I had been looking for: a place where you can put two products next to each other, see the differences that actually matter, and get a straight answer about which one fits the way you use tech.
What the name means
HN comes from my name — Has·Nain. “Tech Versus” is exactly what the site does: it puts technology head to head, so you can decide with confidence.
What we do
- Head-to-head comparisons of smartphones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, cameras and TVs.
- Buying guides and explainers that turn jargon (120Hz, HDMI 2.1, OLED vs Mini LED) into plain language.
- Specifications taken from official manufacturer sources — when something hasn’t been confirmed, we say so instead of guessing.
- A clear verdict: who each product is best for, not just a list of numbers.
Our promise to readers
- No invented specs, prices or scores.
- No fake reviews or testimonials.
- Honest about how we work — read how we compare products and our editorial policy.
